Peridot Solar moved to construction phase of its portfolio throughout Italy

A series of 13 projects in the heart of Sicily, for a total of 146 MW, worth about 150 million euro.

This is what has been put in the pipeline by Peridot Solar, an IPP (Independent Power Producer) with a total portfolio of 271MW of photovoltaic projects under construction in Italy. The plants will begin operation between June 2023 and January 2025, with an additional 700 MW awaiting authorization.

At the beginning of March, the construction of 5 sites, located in the eastern coast of Sicily, commenced with our partner for construction Trina Solar. It was a significant opportunity to showcase the remarkable development plan that Peridot Solar, has launched in Sicily and added to those currently underway in Sardinia, Lazio and Apulia. Massimo Sapienza, Managing Director said “It is an important moment for Peridot. We are setting up our first construction site before turning 1 year old: a bold step forward that will excite our team and investors.
